Field notes

The work, as it happens.

Dated notes from the bench and the build: what changed, what we learned and what comes next. Each note says what kind of evidence it is, and we publish the misses as well as the wins, because that is how a program gets better.

What a trustworthy prototype must demonstrate first

Four properties every serious instrument earns before it earns a claim: repeatability, timing, calibration and honest fault handling. This is the standard we are building to.

About these notes

Every note names its author, the program, the kind of evidence it carries, what changed and the next question. Measured results appear with their methods, conditions and uncertainty, and AI-assisted drafting is disclosed.
