Evidence for lasting benefit

What would distinguish a transient physiological response from meaningful, durable function in brain-health research?

Open collaboration. Scope, time, access and compensation are agreed before work begins.

Why it matters

The goal is lasting function, not a passing signal. We want endpoints that can tell a durable improvement from a transient response, so the research aims at what matters to people.

What exists

A research framing and a reading list of external studies that motivate the question, including a 2025 Parkinson's physiological and biomarker study by another team. None of this is a MNEOS result.

What is uncertain

Which endpoints are meaningful; which alternative explanations must be excluded; what study designs and oversight later research would require.

First useful contribution

An endpoint and alternative-explanations review: what would count, what could mislead, and what a later study would need.

How we would work together

Literature-based review and discussion; no patient contact, no medical records.

Resources actually confirmed

Public literature; MNEOS research framing shared in summary form.
